Fight On!
Spring graduates from USC ~ two weeks after Micah is born. We plan to take him to witness mommy become a Doctor, so Spring had a custom onesie made from makeaonesie.com. As any Trojan would say: FIGHT ON!

Baby Care Basics
I told Kelli I'd post reviews of our baby prep classes, so here it goes. Tonight's class was excellent. Our instructor was energetic and knowledgeable. I think we both learned things we didn't know before. We learned how to swaddle, put on both cloth and disposable diapers, how to give the baby a bath, and how to keep him safe while he sleeps. Marcus can tell you all about the importance of tummy time and how to make sure baby gets it. I was not disturbed by the pictures of the umbilical cord; I've seen that before. On the other hand, Marcus and I were both a little traumatized by the images of circumcision. Marcus described it as akin to a PETA video. The plastibell seemed like the more humane method for those who choose to follow through with the procedure. I am looking forward to the rest of our classes. I hope they are as informative.

Umm . . .
Ok. I'm not sure what it is. It may be that I finally feel pregnant. I can't breathe if I don't sit up straight. I have to ask Marcus to slow down when we're walking together. I'm large. Or maybe it's that I'm in the third trimester and we start our baby classes soon. I don't know what it is, but I am finally beginning to be nervous. It's not very productive to feel that way, but I am. I'll pray, I'll wake up ok again tomorrow. Love you all!

Photoshoot at 26 weeks

Wow
I am amazed that the little counter Marcus put on the left now says that we have less 100 days to go before the arrival of our precious little boy. I am so excited about seeing him and getting to know him. He already has lots of friends, people who call him by name when we walk into a room. It is also a huge blessing that I'll get to be home with him for more than the six weeks leave that are granted by work. We expect him to come so close to the summer time, that I'll be able to just continue my stay home through the summer. We're counting down and enjoying our time before our lives are changed forever by our new addition.
